ABOUT ABOUT

Modeled after Nashville's Blue Bird Café, Writers in the Round is an intimate listening event featuring 4 local singer songwriters that provide a rare opportunity to hear original songs along with stories from the writers offering an understanding of the writer’s creative process. Ladies in the Round the Generations bring together 4 generations of female singer songwriters, starting with Hanna Piage at age 15. See their bios and web sites below

Hanna Paige (www.hannapaigemusic.com)
I'm an indie singer/songwriter. I got my first guitar for Christmas 2012, when I was just 13 years old, and I taught myself how to play. I went to my first open mic night in October 2013 and have been performing at open mics, farmers markets and other showcases almost every week since then. I aspire to make music my career. See their bios below.

Caitlin Dempsey (www.reverbnation.com/caitlindempsey)
I started playing music at around the age of 14..I fell in love with the drums, then guitar and I haven't stopped since. Music is a passion and something I will forever be in awe of. Music will always have my back, and pick me up when I'm down. My instruments know every first love, heartbreak, every hurt, fear doubt, and moment in time I'll never forget. I write what I feel, and I sing about it. Its an honor to perform and be heard. I'll always play and sing and will always, whether the crowd knows my name or not. Its music..you don't just have to be heard, you just have to love it to be heard..and that's why I do what I do

Patty Blee (www.pattyablee.com)
Patty has developed a distinctive guitar style full of bass lines and grooves, intertwining memorable melodies into songs of love and longing. A wide range of influences are evident: blues, folk, country, and rock. Music meant to move the soul... tracks of pure heart and soul, memorably solidified by a strong and unmistakable voice that's surrounded by some of the finest americana musicians around; a refreshing look at a genre that increasingly knows no bounds, inspired by her travels from coast to coast and heart to heart...

Geri Smith (www.gerismith.com)
Singer Songwriter Geri Smith is very busy these days, playing her own songs, writing with Nashville writer Sol Knopf, and singing and speaking the role of the Ladybug for Rob Dickenson's Children's Tale "The Ladybug's Shelter". Geri's songs have been used in Films and by the Bose Corporation to demo their stereo systems.
