Modeled after Nashville's Blue Bird Café, Writers in the Round is an intimate listening event featuring 4 local singer songwriters that provide a rare opportunity to hear original songs along with stories from the writers offering an understanding of the writer’s creative process. This show is going to feature writers that write collaboratively or write and perform as a duo. The featured writers for this show are:
Howard Isengberg and Jerry Di Angelo
Howard and Jerry are at their best when alternating playing original songs, singing harmonies, trading guitar licks and solos and telling stories through song that transport the listener to another place and time and allow the listener to forget their lives for a moment and be totally in the moment.
Charlotte Hash and Frank Baldo
Charlotte Hash and Frank Baldo have been performing together in many different formats and styles for the last 35 years. They are honored to share their original music in the Writers in the Round concert.

Peggy Carroll-Henry and Kevin Henry - Of Minerva
Messages of hope embedded in emotionally driven rock...
Much like Minerva, the Roman goddess of wisdom and sponsor of the arts from whom they take their name, Peg and Kevin combine both their passion for music with a desire to inspire and heal others.
Peg and Kevin have also started a non-profit organization called MECA Music Heals - Musicians Empowering Children of Abuse. In 2013 MECA Music Heals put out a benefit CD featuring Philly area artists (Eric Bazilian, The Caulfields, Angela Sheik, Minerva, etc) as well as put on a benefit concert with all profits being donated to the Philadelphia Children's Alliance. In 2014 MECA started and hosted a monthly music series with 93.7 WSTW Hometown Heroes and Gable Music Ventures again w/all proceeds going to The Philadelphia Children's Alliance.
In 2015, Minerva looks to continue their work with MECA as well as recording a new EP!
